The Madrid administration was going to temporarily suspend the work of the park along with the book fair, which goes there. According to the forecasts of experts of the State Meteorological Agency (Agencia Estatal de Meteorology (AET), from 18:00 local time there should be strong gusts of wind up to 55 km/h and heat up to 35 degrees.
Based on these warnings, the authorities of the capital wanted to gradually turn the program of events from 16:00. The discovery of the traditional book fair Madrid was about to visit at least several hundred inhabitants and city guests.
